A Permanent Solution for a Confident Smile
Fixed Implant supported dentures are a state-of-the-art dental solution that combines the durability of dental implants with the comprehensive functionality of full-arch dentures. These prosthetics are securely anchored to dental implants, offering unparalleled stability and eliminating the need for adhesives or removal. Designed to mimic the appearance and function of natural teeth, fixed hybrid dentures provide a permanent option for patients who are missing all their teeth in the upper, lower, or both arches.
Unlike traditional dentures, which can shift or feel uncomfortable, fixed hybrid dentures stay in place, allowing patients to enjoy their favorite foods and speak with confidence. Beyond functionality, they are crafted with precision to match the natural aesthetics of your smile, enhancing your overall appearance and self-esteem. With proper care and regular maintenance, these dentures can last 10+ (material dependant), making them a long-term investment in your oral health and quality of life. At Pearl Denture & Implant Centre, we work closely with each patient to customize their treatment plan, ensuring comfort, precision, and a solution tailored to their unique needs.
Your Step-by-Step Journey
Fixed hybrid dentures are completed in two distinct phases. After being assessed and approved for implant placement by your dentist or oral surgeon, you’ll begin the next steps of your treatment with your denturist. Each phase is tailored to ensure precision, comfort, and optimal results.
Implant Candidacy
Both your denturist and surgeon will ensure you are an eligible candidate for a fixed implant supported denture. A comprehensive examination of both medical and dental history must be done along with ensuring patients mental health is stable. The following is assessed and can affect implant treatment if it is not properly managed.

Candidates must have sufficient bone density and good oral health to support implants. A consultation with your dentist, oral surgeon, or denturist is necessary to determine your suitability for this treatment.
-
The entire process typically spans several months. Phase one includes tooth extraction and implant placement, followed by a healing period of 3–6 months. Phase two involves creating and fitting your final prosthetic, which can take 6–9 appointments over a couple of months.
-
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity of your dentures and implants. This includes:
Relines: Typically needed every 1–2.5 years as your gums and bone structure change.
Replacements: Recommended every 5–7 years to maintain optimal function and comfort.
Professional Cleaning: Regular cleaning prevents plaque buildup and preserves the appearance and functionality of your prosthetic.
-
Discomfort or looseness may occur if components, such as the plastic rings or attachments, wear out. These can be replaced during routine maintenance to restore fit and stability. If you experience persistent discomfort, schedule an appointment for adjustments.
